RACKMUX-TERM (Front and Back) 

Features & Applications

The RACKMUX® Terminal Drawer places a VTxx/ANSI Terminal right in the rack for control of SUN or PC-based headless servers. This flexible terminal is easy to install and configure for either RS232 or Telnet communication modes:
  • Entire unit is only 1 HE/U (44mm) high.
  • Monitor has five locking positions while in use, and a lock-down mechanism for when not in use.
  • LCD power-up when raised; manual override.
  • NEMA sealed front 2mm glass protects the LCD panel.
  • Supports RSC capabilities.
  • Serial and parallel slave-printer ports.
  • Includes rackmount kit suitable for SUN and most EIA 19" racks. Fits 0.6m to 0.9m rack depths via adjustable mounting brackets.

  • Character matrix: 7x12 dot matrix in 10x16 cell with 3 dot descenders.
  • Screen size: 80 characters wide by 25 lines.
  • Page length: 1, 2 or 4 screens (multiple screen page length reduces maximum number of possible telnet sessions).
  • Cursor: Blink or steady, block or underline.
  • Modes: Full duplex, half duplex, block, half block.
  • 16 foreground colors.

Hosts

  • Compatible with any SUN or PC-based headless server.

Power

  • 110 or 220 VAC at 50 or 50Hz.
