Features & Applications

The INTERMUX® KVM on IP™ system allows you to control one or many computers locally at the server site or remotely via the Internet using a standard browser. You can securely gain BIOS level access to systems for maintenance, support, or failure recovery over the Internet. Communication is secure via SSL encryption. Use in conjunction with a KVM switch for multiple-server access. The INTERMUX unit is compatible with all NTI switches, including UNIMUX™ USB KVM Switches (using NTI's USB-PS2 adapter).
  • Provides direct connection to servers at the BIOS level.
  • Highly secure. Encrypted with SSL v2/v3.
    • Unique security certificates can be generated and uploaded to the system after endorsement by a certification authority.
  • Zero-U. Consumes no rack or desk space.
  • No impact on computer performance. The INTERMUX unit is connected to the monitor, keyboard and mouse connectors of the host computer.
  • Requires no additional software. There are no licensing fees for proprietary software based on the number of users.
  • Optimize multiple-user access by providing several INTERMUX units at the server location.
  • Remote Boot.
    • USB 2.0 mass storage emulation allows the local computer to boot from a remote drive over the network.
  • Ten remote users can access the server simultaneously.
  • Plug and Play functionality allows simple physical reconfiguration of the server environment.
