Based on the sophisticated technology of the CORIOscan Pro, Vine have now developed an even better scan convertor which addresses the demands of the Post Production /Broadcast market... the CORIOscan Pro SG!
Now providing the much requested Studio Genlock feature and twice as much video memory as the CORIOscan Pro, the output quality of the CORIOscan Pro SG is superb, delivering exceptional clarity and full 24 bit colour information.
Useful in the post production studio set up, Vine has integrated horizontal and sub-carrier phase control to assist in vision mixing and colour accuracy when editing. The unit supports resolutions of up to 1600 x 1200 with no line dropping, at horizontal scan rates of up to 100kHz and has 6 line flicker reduction. The CORIOscan Pro SG is compatible with PC, Apple Macintosh and Workstations, is PAL and NTSC switchable and the choice of using YUV, RGB, S-Video, Composite Video with separate sync. outputs, make it compatible with a vast array of equipment.

CORIOscan Pro SG desktop

The CORIOscan Pro offers high performance scan conversion from virtually any source* to virtually any video output you need. The CORIOscan Pro incorporates a host of features for the discerning user. For the corporate user it becomes a powerful assistant for Presentations, Conferences and Exhibitions.
For the video professional it provides quality results, with various outputs, for video productions etc.

A CORIOscan Pro SG version is now available. This uses the latest CORIO technology to provide not only full Genlock features for better integration into a studio environment, but also a crisper and more detailed picture.
Both CORIOscan Pro units (ie. the standard version and the SG version) come in three versions. A desktop version for corporate use, and both a Single Rackmount and a Double Rackmount version, incorporating two CORIOscan Pro units, for professional/studio use.

CORIOscan Pro SG single rack-mount

All versions support resolutions of up to 1600x1200 with no line dropping, and at horizontal scan rates of up to 100kHz. Suitable for PC, Apple Macintosh and Workstation computers, the units are NTSC and PAL switchable, with Composite Video, S-Video, RGB, YUV and composite or separate syncs, making it compatible with a vast range of equipment.

One powerful feature of the CORIOscan Pro is the AutoSet facility. This automatically positions and sizes the computer resolution on to the video display. This setting is then saved in non-volatile memory and is recalled whenever this resolution is used again. Manual adjustment of the display setting is also available via various control methods.

Powerful though it may be, ease of use of the CORIOscan Pro has not been overlooked. Controllable via the built in LCD display, Remote Control and RS232 control, all the features can be accessed at the touch of a button.
In addition the CORIOscan Pro remote control can act as a mouse to enable the computer to be controlled from a distance within presentations etc.
Other features include user adjustable Overscan and Underscan settings, 2x Zoom and Panning, and high level flicker reduction control.

The CORIOscan Pro range is the ideal peripheral for getting large screen displays from computers (even laptops), and for incorporating computer text and graphics into video presentations and post production. The CORIOscan Pro SG version offers everything that the standard version does, but with twice the amount of video memory and full genlock facilities, it's even better suited to integration with other video equipment in a professional studio. It also uses Vine's latest RC03 infra-red remote control, making its control even easier - and the addition of a front-panel lock facility ensures that control doesn't fall into the wrong hands.
